Nomination Golden Globe 2023: “Mercoledì” nella cinquina dei migliori

Poche ore fa sono state annunciate da Mayan Lopez e Selenis Leyva (Orange is the new black), protagonisti della fortunata comedy Lopez & Lopez, le nomination ai Golden Globe 2023. La cerimonia si terrà a Los Angeles il 10 gennaio 2023, e sarà presentata dal comico Jerrod Carmichael (Saturday Night Live).

A spiccare tra le nominations è sicuramente Mercoledì, candidata come Miglior serie Musical/Comedy e che vede anche la sua protagonista, Jenna Ortega, candidata come Miglior Attrice in una serie Musical/Comedy. Nominations del tutto inaspettate dal pubblico, certo è che Wednesday è stata la serie più vista di Netflix in assoluto, ma la critica è rimasta divisa riguardo la qualità effettiva del prodotto, soffermandosi in particolare sulla dispartà di lavorazione dei primi quattro episodi (diretti dal maestro del gotico Tim Burton) con il resto delle puntate, a parere di molti, di qualità inferiore.
